    Membership Terms and Conditions

    Annual Membership

    33. Duration and Cancellation

33.1. All Annual memberships granted under this agreement shall be for a fixed annual term of 12 months.

33.2. Payment for annual membership must be made in full in advance.

33.3. Annual memberships are non-cancellable during the membership term, except where required by law or at the discretion of the Rustington Golf Centre in exceptional circumstances. Temporary freezes to membership may be available at the discretion of Rustington Golf Centre under the Membership Freeze conditions set out in these Terms & Conditions.

33.4. No refunds will be provided for unused membership periods unless required by law.

    34. Joining Fee

34.1. All Annual memberships are subject to a joining fee, which must be paid in full in advance along with the first year’s payment to initiate the membership.

    35. Payment and Renewal

35.1. Annual membership is for a fixed term of 12 months and will expire at the end of that term.

35.2. Members may renew their membership for a further 12 month period by making payment prior to expiry or within 30 days following the expiry date.

35.3. If payment is not made within this 30 day period, the membership will lapse. Any subsequent rejoining will be treated as a new membership and will be subject to the applicable joining fee.

35.4. Where a member renews within the 30 day period, the renewal will take effect from the original expiry date, and the renewal date for the following year will remain unchanged. Late payment within this period will not extend the membership term.

    Monthly Membership

    36. Duration and Cancellation

36.1. Monthly membership operates as a rolling monthly subscription. Monthly membership will continue on a month to month basis until cancelled.

36.2. Payment must be made monthly in advance for the relevant monthly period. Memberships will be suspended where payment hasn’t been received by 20 day of the month.

36.3. All memberships run from 14th of the month. On joining, members will pay a pro rata rate calculated from the date of joining up to this renewal date.

36.4. Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time, subject to the member providing written notice 14 days before the monthly renewal date. Following cancellation, membership will continue until the end of the current paid month, and no further payments will be taken.

36.5. No refunds are available for monthly periods where the membership subscription was paid but the Club was not accessed, except as required by law or in exceptional circumstances.

    37. Payment

37.1. Payments for monthly membership must be made by direct debit only, except for the initial payment on joining.

37.2. To cancel the monthly membership subscription, the member must provide written notice with a minimum of 14 days in advance of the monthly renewal date. Cancellation requests should be sent via email to the office at info@rgcgolf.com.

37.3. The monthly subscription cost may vary from time to time. Notice of any price change will be given at least 30 days prior to the next renewal date.

37.4. On any price change, members would retain their option to cancel their monthly subscription by giving the required cancellation notice.

    38. Nature of the Monthly Membership

38.1. Each monthly subscription payment relates solely to the corresponding monthly period. Monthly membership operates independently of the annual membership option and is not linked to, calculated by reference to, or derived from any annual membership fee.

38.2. No element of the monthly subscription represents payment of an annual fee by instalments, and the monthly membership does not constitute the provision of credit or a consumer credit agreement.

38.3. Nothing in these terms and conditions creates a consumer credit agreement or any form of financial accommodation. The monthly membership is a pay as you go subscription arrangement under which members pay for access as it is provided and members do not incur any deferred payment obligation.

    39. Separation of Membership Types

39.1. Annual membership and monthly membership are separate and independent products. Monthly membership is not a method of paying for annual membership and does not provide access beyond each monthly billing period.

    40. Joining Fee

40.1. All monthly memberships are subject to a joining fee, payable on commencement of membership. The joining fee cannot be paid in separate instalments or by direct debit.

40.2. If a monthly member leaves and subsequently decides to re-join (either as an annual or monthly member), they will be required to pay the appropriate joining fee again upon their return.

    41. Direct Debit Payment Failure

41.1. If a member’s direct debit payment fails, the member is responsible for making the payment within 5 days of the 14th of the month.

41.2. Failure to make the payment within 30 days will result in the member being marked as a leaver and subject to a re-joining fee if they wish to re-join.

41.3. If a member’s payment fails to process and is not successfully taken three times or more within any 12-month period, the Club reserves the right to terminate the member’s monthly membership. A member would at that time either need to become an annual member (with full payment for the joining fee and the 12-month period made upfront) or leave the Club.

    GolfFlex Membership

    42. Nature of GolfFlex Membership

42.1. Golf Flex membership is a points based membership option. Golf Flex members are members of Rustington Golf Centre and benefit from the same general membership privileges as other members, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

    43. Membership Fee and Credits Allocation

43.1. Golf Flex members must pay an annual membership fee of £250 on commencement and on each renewal.

43.2. Upon joining or renewal, Golf Flex members will receive an allocation of 200 credits for use in booking access to the course.

43.3. Renewal payments must be made within 30 days of the membership expiry date.

43.4. If payment for renewal is not received within this period, the membership will be treated as expired and any remaining credits will be voided. Any subsequent rejoining will be treated as a new membership and not linked to the old one, therefore it will require a new application and payment of the annual membership.

43.5. If payment for renewal is made within the 30 days of the membership expiry date, the remaining credits on the account will roll over. The account will also be credited with the new allocation of 200 credits.

43.6. Credits are personal to the member, non-transferable to other members, non-refundable and have no cash value.

43.7. The annual membership fee is non-refundable.

43.8. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of allocation and will expire if unused. Expired credits will not be reinstated or refunded.

43.9. Any unused valid credits will carry forward only where the membership renewal fee is paid within 30 days of the membership expiry date.

43.10. Where a member does not renew and subsequently wishes to rejoin, this will be treated as a new membership. A joining fee and the applicable annual membership fee will be payable, and a new allocation of credits will be issued.

    44. Use of Credits

44.1. Credits may be used by Golf Flex members to book access to the course.

44.2. The number of credits required to book rounds of golf will vary depending on the day of the week and time of play, as set out below:

GolfFlex credits required per round at Rustington Golf Centre
Time Frame9 Holes Before 2pm9 Holes After 2pm18 Holes Before 2pm18 Holes After 2pm
    Weekend18142420

44.3. The Club reserves the right to amend the number of credits required for bookings from time to time. Any changes will be communicated in advance.

    45. Additional Credits (Top-Ups)

45.1. Golf Flex members may purchase additional credits on an ad hoc basis as follows:

    Par: £50 for 50 credits

    Birdie: £100 for 105 credits

    Eagle: £150 for 165 credits

45.2. Additional credits purchased are subject to the same terms as standard credits and are non-refundable.

    46. Booking and Check-In Requirement

46.1. Golf Flex members must use their available credits to book all rounds of golf in advance and must check in prior to play.

46.2. The number of credits required to book a round will depend on the time and day of play, as set out in the Golf Flex pricing schedule.

46.3. Failure to check in prior to playing may result in suspension or termination of membership in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

46.4. The Club reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where insufficient credits are available or where the booking rules are not complied with.

    47. Switching Membership Categories

47.1. Should a member wish to switch from Golf Flex Membership to a different category they will need to use their points prior to switching or points will be lost.

47.2. Once a member switches to another category they end their Golf Flex membership and would have to re-join as a Golf Flex member if they wanted to switch back. This would incur the usual cost of joining as a Golf Flex member.

    48. Expiry of Credits

48.1. Credits expire 12 months from the date of allocation and will not be carried forward or refunded if unused.

    49. General Terms

49.1. Golf Flex members must comply with all Club rules relating to booking, access and conduct.

49.2. The Club reserves the right to amend the operation of the Golf Flex membership (including credit allocation, pricing structures and usage rules) from time to time, provided that reasonable notice is given.

Membership Freeze Due to Injury or Illness
