Who we are

This website is run by Rustington Golf Centre Limited (company number 02642121), trading as Rustington Golf Centre, Golfers Lane, Angmering, Littlehampton, West Sussex BN16 4NB. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration number Z818505X). If you have a question about your information, email info@rgcgolf.com or call 01903 850 790.

What we collect and why

Enquiries. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your message, so that we can reply. The form uses a Cloudflare security check to stop spam.

Newsletter. If you sign up, your email address is added to our own customer system (provided by FuseMetrix) and we use it to send you news and offers about Rustington Golf Centre, because you have agreed to it. Every email lets you unsubscribe, or you can email info@rgcgolf.com.

Website analytics. Only if you allow it in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. See “How we use cookies” below.

Security and site logs. Like most websites, our hosting and security tools keep technical records of visits (such as the page requested, the time, your browser type and, for security, your IP address) to keep the site working and protect it from attack.

Bookings and competitions

Online bookings and payments are handled on our booking site, bookings.rgcgolf.com, which is provided by FuseMetrix (FuseMetrix privacy policy). Member competitions are run through Masterscoreboard (Masterscoreboard privacy policy).

Who else handles your information

We use trusted providers to run this website: our website host and developer (Tann Westlake), WordPress plugins for forms and security, an email delivery service (Brevo) that sends form notifications to us, Google (Analytics, only with your consent), Cloudflare (form security check), Vimeo (videos on some pages) and Amazon Web Services (encrypted website backups). We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for one year. We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Website backups are kept for around six weeks, and logs of broken links are deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it for marketing. In some cases you can also object to or restrict how we use it. There is normally no charge, and we will reply within one month. Email info@rgcgolf.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational steps to keep the information we collect secure and to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure.

How we use cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This section explains the cookies this website uses and how you can control them. It was last updated on 5 October 2026.

Your choice comes first. When you first visit, a cookie banner asks whether you allow analytics and advertising cookies. Until you choose, and if you choose “Reject All”, we do not load Google Analytics or any other Google measurement tools, and no analytics or advertising cookies are set.

Necessary cookies. cookieyes-consent remembers the choices you made in the cookie banner, so that we do not ask you on every page. It lasts for one year. custom_popup_seen is set when you close the pop-up message, so that it is not shown again during your visit. It is deleted when you close your browser.

Analytics cookies. If you allow Analytics, we load Google Tag Manager, which runs Google Analytics. Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_XJK74WZ09G (up to two years) so that we can count visits and see which pages are useful, including which pages lead to bookings, phone calls, emails and newsletter sign-ups. When it runs, Google receives information about your visit, such as the pages you view, the links you use and the type of device and browser you use. We do not use Google’s advertising features, and this website does not currently use advertising cookies.

Changing your mind. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie button at the bottom left of every page. If you withdraw consent, we stop loading these tools and remove the Google cookies listed above from this website. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Other services. Some pages include content or features from other providers, such as videos hosted on Vimeo, a Cloudflare security check on our forms, and our online booking system at bookings.rgcgolf.com. These services may set their own cookies, which are covered by their own privacy and cookie policies.
